Our Laser Cutting Capabilities

At Wyoming Machine, Inc., our dedication to precision laser cutting is such that we consistently produce top-quality small, large and heavy components for original equipment manufacturers. We are at our core, a quality focused company, and employ laser cutting equipment that can meet tolerances to ±.005″. We utilize a 3-axis gaseous laser in a flying optics configuration to precisely laser cut sheet, plate and coil with maximum widths and lengths of 60″ and 120″ respectively.

Constant vigilance and the use of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, combined with our Virtek Laser QC rapid inspection system, ensure we always meet quality standards, whether specified by an industry sector or our customers. That commitment to quality is also evident in our ISO 9001:2015 certification and our ability to comply with multiple industry standards.

Because we know that value-added services matter to our customers we have continued to expand beyond laser cutting, welding, forming and CNC punching capabilities. As a result, customers have been turning to us for services such as design for manufacturability, engineering, assembly, and logistical support. To learn more about our precision laser cutting capabilities and value-added services, see the table below or contact us directly.

Our Laser Cutting Machines

At Wyoming Machine Co., we utilize the Amada Ventis 3015 AJe Fiber Laser in addtion to Amada Co2 lasers with various wattages for all our laser cutting solutions. The Amada Ventis Fiber Laser utilizes Locus Beam Control (LBC) technology, which allows for incredibly precise laser beam manipulation. Its energy density does not wane even with thicker materials, meaning we can cut at speeds up to three times faster than traditional fiber laser machines, all without sacrificing quality.

Another key quality is our ability to mark parts directly during the cutting process. This means no further operations are needed, meaning our delivery times are short and our costs are low. Our machinery also offers improved kerf control, energy efficiency and sustainability.

A Top Woman-Owned Company

Founded in 1974 by Thomas Tapani, Wyoming Machine has spent decades providing various metal fabrication services, including laser cutting services, to customers around the nation. And in 1994, Tom’s daughters Traci and Lori joined the company, helping continue to build our company to a thriving, woman-owned business.

Under Traci and Lori’s leadership, Wyoming Machine has continued to expand and improve our services. Our team of skilled engineers and technicians have decades of combined experience in the industry, providing top-notch fabrication services to a wide range of industries including agriculture, energy, construction, transportation, medical equipment, and many more.

As a woman-owned business, we are proud to bring diversity, creativity and innovation to our work. We believe that having diverse perspectives and experiences only strengthens our ability to provide high-quality solutions for our customers. We also prioritize fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for all of our employees.
