With our proven track record of success, Wyoming Machine, Inc., is a valued competitor in the government contracting market. Although the work we do under government contracts is much the same as the work we do for commercial entities – the geometry of the products, tolerances, etc. are virtually identical — we have the added capability of complying with the complex set of laws and regulations associated with doing business in the federal marketplace.

Sheet metal fabrication is our core capability, and we have a fluent understanding of the precision, reliability, and low-cost requirements of the military and defense industries. Certified by the Women Business Owners National Council (WBENC), we have qualified for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) classification in government contracts for NAICS codes 332313 plate work manufacturing, 332322 sheet metal work manufacturing, and 332999 miscellaneous fabricated metal product manufacturing. As a fabricator of goods for direct defense-related applications and others intended for military end-use, we maintain our annual ITAR Registration. With internal controls that secure and manage the distribution of all the technical data associated with ITAR products, including engineering files, specification sheets, etc., we uphold compliance with ITAR obligations. Also, as a member of the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group), we fulfill the contract requirements associated with fabricating precision parts for military vehicles.

As an experienced government contractor, we are accomplished in all aspects of contract review, process review, and standards compliance. In the past, we have engaged our staff in specialized training based on DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Requirements) and FAR (Federal Acquisition Requirements). We are well versed in mil-spec standards for processes such as plating, painting, and welding, and employ job-specific procedures and document all work instructions to ensure compliance. Our supply chain supports critical aspects of government projects, such as raw material acquisition and the hiring of subcontractors, to ensure we adhere to contract requirements.

With our familiarity of the regulations that apply to most federal contractors, we have a strong history in this market and can help you add valuable points to your small business procurement scorecard. Contact us today to learn more.
